The Queryloop decentralized economy depends on curators. They evaluate and advise on the subqueries that The Queryloop Network should index using their understanding of the web3 environment. Curators can see network data using the Explorer to make signalling judgements. A portion of the query fees generated by high-quality subqueries are distributed to curators who signal on them through the Queryloop Network. Curators have financial incentives to provide out early signals. Indexers can analyse or index the data from these signalled subqueries using these signals from curators.
Curators have the option of utilising auto-migrate or a specified version of the subquery when signalling. A Curator's shares will always be moved to the most recent version made available by the developer when signalling via auto-migrate. Shares will always remain on this particular version if you want to signal on it instead.
Recall that curating involves risk. Please take care to only curate on subqueries you believe in. A subquery may be created by anyone with no restrictions, therefore anyone can give it any name they like.
